The establishment of the Student Dormitories at Ben Gurion university was led by Ashtrom as a PPP concessions project, which included the planning, capital facilitation, construction, and management of the complex for a period of 20 years.
Development and Management of Student Dormitories
The complex, designed and planned by the architectural firm Lowei Dvorinsky, consists of two 5-story buildings with a total of 129 housing units. In addition to 2-3 room apartments, the complex features multi-story protected spaces, communal areas for learning and leisure, a fitness room, playground, and 61 parking spaces.
Completed by Ashtrom Construction in 2019, the complex is now managed by Ashtrom Concessions, overseeing operational and maintenance tasks such as operation of electro-mechanical systems, management of maintenance workers, cleaning services, building accessibility, parking lot operations, continuous building upgrades to meet evolving needs, and coordination with external contractors and suppliers.
