Utilizing Prefabricated Elements in a Public Building
Completed in 2010, the Rishon LeZion Municipality building is a 7-story structure with three levels of underground parking, located in the city center near the historic winery building. The building, featuring distinctive glass facades, covers an area of 22,000 sqm.
The construction process utilized prefabricated elements produced at the Ashcrete factory, which were then transported and assembled on-site. This approach significantly reduced construction times and maximized efficiency. Additionally, the building features unique curtain wall facades that enhance energy efficiency through thermal insulation. The proximity to a residential area presented engineering and logistical challenges, adding complexity to the project.
